people when you look back do you see your parents as?

being self serving and having children more as a self serving thing (how can I word this) sort of to prove to themselves and everyone else society that they could do it and really didn't want to have children at all ?

do you feel exploited by your parents that they only wanted to be bossy and tell people what to do? do you come away with the feeling that your parents really shouldn't of had children at all that is what I really want to ask

I often feel that they shouldn't have had me. I'm the youngest and was only conceived because they "had to have a boy". There were four of us in all; the first was a girl, and if any of the two between me and the first had been a boy, that probably would have been the end of it. I think way too much is made about people being grateful to their parents because parents really are doing it for themselves when they make babies; fulfilling their own desires, whether it's lust or some daydream they have about "their" perfect family.
