Which do you prefer: books that alternate between POVs or stick to just one?
I understand that it depends on the story line and all that, I know that's important too, but based on your experience, do you prefer stories that switch up point of views between the characters or just stick to one point of view?

Points of view...as in first person point of view?
I'm quite fine with omniscient point of view, or any other third point of view, switching up which character it follows but if it's told in first person point of view, I don't like it. Having there be two, or more. "I" in a long story is too much for me, especially if there's not any way to distinctly distinguish between them.
That's my preference.

I liked change of view in different chapters in the Myth Series INC books.
I think it is one of the things that depend on how well it works in the story and if it becomes confusing which if you change with chapters should not be a problem.

I think both are equally as interesting. Faulkner had something really brilliant about the way he used several POVs. Infinite Jest was also really incredible; I think, especially with longer novels, it helps to prevent boredom.
