Do you realize that the US is arming Syrian rebels?

How come we have been doing this crap forever but when Obama does it he's wrong? Everything that Obama does turns into a conspiracy theory. You do know that he's got some pretty good advisors, right?

Indirectly, through the Turks, Saudis, and Qataris we are.

That is because we were trying to wrest control of Syria from Assad. We also armed Bin Laden to fight the Soviets, and Sadaam Hussein to fight the Iranians, and Reagan sold weapons to the Iranians in exchange for our embassy hostages. We also armed the warlords who run the Somali pirates and South American and Asian drug lords which makes our war on drugs and pirates seem a bit pointless. Then the radicals or criminals who we didn't arm, buy or steal the weapons we gave the more moderate groups.

That is how international politics works. The enemy of your enemy is your friend, until he is not.
