Can anyone recommend any post-hardcore bands?
I'm pretty fussy:
- Not interested in high-pitched vocals like Pierce the Veil or Sleeping with Sirens
- Would rather it have more cleans vocals than screamed
Thank you!
My favourite bands currently are Silverstein, A Day to Remember, and Avenged Sevenfold.

F.u.ck post-hardcore. Try grunge or alt-metal. Grunge would be Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, some Alice in Chains.
Alternative metal would be Jane's Addiction, Faith No More, some Alice in Chains, etc.
Post hardcore is just the demon child of pop-punk and deathcore.

Post Hardcore is a very vague description, and overall a poor name for a genre, but here are a few bands that tend to fall under the label:
Hoover

Rodan

Unwound

Lungfish

Shudder to Think

A Minor Forest (who tend to fall under the label "Math Rock" or "Post Rock" instead)

I recommend starting out with these bands and using last.fm or whichever music site of your choosing to spread out from there. Bands similar to these (and some of these bands themselves) fall under the labels "Noise Rock", "Slowcore", "Sadcore", "Math Rock", & "Post Rock" (though, Post Rock is a very diverse genre and only a few bands labeled Post Rock would also fall under the Post Hardcore label). Have fun!
