Am I the only one here who recognizes the ISIS upring in Iraq as fake and a conspiracy?

the only "ISIS" in Iraq, are the same old sunni groups that have always been giving problems in Iraq. There is no radical take-over in Iraq and Syria, not like what the media has been portraying this past week. Dont trust ANY of the media on this at all. This ISIS takeover is just a different spin on what has been going on all along, just with a new name, exaggerations, and lies. Also, that mass execution and other videos of engagements with "ISIS" look fake too me. Anyone else agree? I have also seen a terrible Russian Media blitz on youtube this week. I saw alot of russian "youtubers" posting up to 50 crappy videos a day on their channels. WHY?

I am not surprised at the "real assessments"of ISIL comparatively speaking. Yes,the beheadings were unconscienable and hideous and they have to be dealt with but as much as I don't like to think it,this is a contrived level of threat both in Iraq and Syria. I can't help remembering very vividly the "WMD"(Weapons of Mass Destruction).Actual pictures of transport and hiding places that didn't exist.

This over exaggeration gives me the same bad feeling. The U.S.spent billions over years and years to train a supposed 500,000 Iraqi Troops yet they cannot handle these guys with all the equipment and U.S.weaponry to go along with their numbers? What were we doing there for all that time and more importantly what were they doing to be at this point where they cannot protect their own country?

The explanation for this entire Operation is to once again pull the wool over everybody's eyes, use the "threat" as a reason to go back in to Iraq and more importantly into Syria to achieve their ultimate goal(which it has always been and now they have manufactured the best excuse)to wipe out Bashir Al Assad. If you believe anything other than that then you are a fool. I'm gullible yes, just not as stupid as the government thinks we all are.

Yes obviously someone paid for that ISIS parade. And also I have noticed they are using Hitler's Strategy.

I don't see why you wouldn't believe that ISIS is a real threat? They are taking over major cities and areas in Iraq. Saddam did keep them in check up until the US came and took him out and left an unstable Iraq to fend for it's self. They are organized and know what they're doing they have the Iraqi army leaving their gear on the ground and running away. With that being said I don't support any effort for the US to go back into Iraq, this isn't our religous civil war to get into.

Exactly. ISIS is not Al Qaida, it's the same old troublemakers that Saddan Hussein (remember him?) used to keep in check.

the Govt should sponsor its own media outlet for the libs and dems to tune into - they could be walked off a cliff if they thought that would make the govt happy
