Repercussions for Medicinal Marijuana in Illinois?
I've learned that smoking cannabis helps me relieve stress, helps me eat (I workout often but have a hard time eating more than 2k calories a day, which doesn't work well together), and keeps me motivated (I know smoking to be motivated is an oxymoron, but it keeps me focused on the important matters in front of me, and I often use it as a reward for finishing a paper/12 hour shift/etc.)
I also learned that it is now legal for medicinal use in Illinois. What are the consequences of getting a medicinal marijuana card? Will it not allow me to work in the medical field? Will it not let me vote? Where can I find more about this?
I know dope is highly frowned upon, but as a pharmacy tech at CVS, I see plenty of people who depend on liver and kidney damaging prescription medications to get through the day, which is unarguably much worse for you than smoking a bit here and there to relieve the same symptoms. If anyone can post any links for this topic with some answers, it'd be highly appreciated.
Thank you kindly.

Well, if you get a MMJ card, no one will know unless you tell them or get drug tested. It is Hippa protected. Go here and check out your state
