I must have missed the part when Optimus Prime was captured by the Bounty Hunter, Lockdown. Lockdown explained to Optimus Prime about the creators. But who is this Bounty Hunter ? Where did he come from ?

Yes, Lockdown is a bounty hunter. Lockdown works for different species. In this case he made a deal with Harold Attinger. Harold gets the seed and Lockdown gets prime. Optimus Prime's creators want him back so they sent Lockdown to go get him and thats when Harold met Lockdown and the deal started.
