Will my bf's and mine's only two issues destroy our relationship?
It may sound silly or whatever but beyond natural and normal bickering or disagreements, my boyfriend and I only really have two issues.
The easiest way to explain is like this: if there was me with my tattoos and the ones I plan to get sat in front of my bf next to me without the tattoos, he'd pick the latter; if there was a him that is shy and quiet about the faith he has sat next to a him that happily takes his kids to sunday school every week and regularly offers to pray with me etc..., I would choose the latter.
Are they important enough issues that you reckon we won't 'go the distance'?
He respects my faith and appreciates my passion and evangelical nature, he just doesn't reciprocate. He has also said that he can deal with the tattoos I have but if I got any more any time soon he may have to break up with me.
We talk about the future a lot and plan to have each other in it but these things buzz about my head constantly so some advice would be welcome, thanks in advance.

Tattoos are a reflection of your heart and soul. If he is rejecting them, he is in essence rejecting who your really are. Time for a new boyfriend.

It almost sounds as if he is trying to control you. In any relationship you should be free to be who you are and to express yourself. If he is attempting to change who you are then he must not really like who you are to begin with.
My question to you is this, do you want to be who you are or be who he wants you to be? If you choose the latter then be prepared to be making lots of changes during your life. Giving in to his demands so new into a relationship and you are already concerned about being able to "go the distance" I would if I were you do some very serious soul searching then have a very serious discussion with him and the two of you decide if you are willing to contribute to a commitment to be each other's partner and not their controller. In reality each and every one of us has some desire to control someone. It is when you satisfy that desire by controlling yourself then you will have no desire to control anyone else.
Good luck!
