What are Americans to make of more than one US government agency now claiming that the hard drive crashed?

Apparently, Lois Lerner and the IRS aren't the only players here. In a hearing that occurred last week, an EPA administrator showed that the EPA is playing the same game here:

Perhaps, then, the problem in this regard goes beyond the current administration, with all its lawlessness - it might be a systemic aspect of big government in America these days.

The head of the EPA under Clinton destroyed her emails and other records when a FOIA request was initiated. Obama's first EPA head had to resign because she was found to be using an email account under her dog's name Richard Windsor for official government business yet we are expected to give up our way of life based on their "secret" findings.

All government agencies are required by federal law to keep their records but nothing is done to enforce this law. Resignations and public airing aren't going to change anything. Prison time must be the result of fooling the American people. Otherwise, we just live in a banana republic.

Congress will have to pass a law requiring all government agency cyber activity to be backed up forever in the cloud somewhere, in multiple secure locations. Otherwise, they'll keep using this "hard drive crash" excuse.

Please don't think that only liberals cheat and lie. Research the Nixon administration and the Reagan Administration. People lie and cheat and hide evidence. Everyone does it, or, least, it is done by people of all political persuasions. A Tea Party leader in the State of Mississippi killed himself last week due to his being found out to be involved in some illegal activity to try to win an election. See: http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2014/0...

Both liberals and conservatives think their cause is just, and so, when they lie, cheat and destroy evidence, they think they are doing this for the greater good of the nation. It's just human nature. Isn't that right?

It is not so much a symptom of "big" government as it is a symptom of pervasive and systemic corruption within said government! I personally have never seen or ever heard of as much overt corruption within America's government as I have under the current administration! No other administration in the history of the country has even come close, as far as I know!

    We don't care.

The more the system crashes the more Liberty Americans and peoples everywhere experience once the government monkey gets of their back.

I believe Ronald Reagan said it best: "government is not the solution, government is the problem".

They dont care. They are busy trying to keep their jobs and feed their families. Besides all these scandals popping up are looking more and more suspect. Its not a good sign for the GOP.
