Why can't I answer questions anymore?

In the past couple of weeks, I no longer have the ability to answer questions.

I can go to a question, read it and a box appears (to answer it) however the 'submit' box is

not there......what's going on?

    On the device I use most often, I have been having this problem for around 7 months, ever since the purple format was made permanent and used across the whole site. Within the recent past however, a change that Yahoo! made to the site has made the site have problems with Internet Explorer. Something on the site has made it so that IE is seeing something as a security risk. So if you are using IE, and if at the bottom you have a message about displaying everything, you can choose to show all and that might make it work again. If you don't have that message, then you might have to try another browser like Firefox or Chrome. If you aren't using IE, then it is likely another problem with Y!A, no surprise there.

    Oh, and don't forget to choose a best answer for your question if one helps you, since Yahoo!Answers has done away with voting. You can always wait for more if the ones you have aren't satisfactory.

    There is a problem, Yahoo has advised that an undersea cable has been damaged. Try refreshing the page push f5 to do that and try this, push Control+ or Control-. also, if you're getting a lower pop up asking if you want to show all content click that then enter your answer in the box and the blue submit button will be there.

    Its a glitch, and it may help if you try using a different browser. Sometimes things don't display properly in the one you are using, and you need to switch.
