the reason. I see very few black on TV. Boston and DC
in the crowds . surprising few young blacks kids
driving thru cities you see very few American flags.

Yes blacks who are Americans citizens celebrate the 4th of July...don't see no reason why they wouldn't.! It's probably only few that you see in the crowds probably because they're out celebrating in a different way not everyone goes to the big celebrations some families just stay home and celebrate in their back yard. That's just my opinion.!:)

If I were a black man, I'd want to celebrate the date the 13th Amendment was ratified. Truly, that was their independence day.
