what do you do when you're down?

All I did for 4th of July was workout and cry lol. (sigh) my family is 7 hours away and I just moved to a new city do I don't know too many people.. I'm not even close to family so it wouldn't even make a difference.

It was just hard seeing all the people around my apartment have people over and such. My friends and I have distance between us since I moved and I have no one..

Sometimes it is okay to just cry and miss people.

The idea is to not stay in a place that makes you sad, if you have no friends, go out and make them. Miss your family? Call them, tell them. Not happy with where you live, find something better etc.

    Hopefully life gets better soon.

    Peace :)

So you just moved. You go out to some random event and talk to strangers. You say hello to the neighbours in the lift or corridor or put a "Hello I'm your new neighbour ... in their mail box. Also you have to have realistic expectations. You just moved in! You could have used the public holiday to explore your new neighborhood or city. Do you go to the nearest community center or library and find out if there was any public events on you could attend or join the library and borrow a book or two to read on the holiday?

Or be thankful you didnt have to work on the holiday like some people!

Can you go visit your friends or family?

    What about adopting a pet?

    A kitten perhaps?

Or what about joining a meetup group or a church?
