Girls worried about being pregnant?
There seems to be an over abundance of girls of various ages on YA who talk about various sexual experiences with their boyfriends and possibly being pregnant. He only did this or that. We only did it once. He said you can't get pregnant doing it the first time. He only fingered me. He pulled out. He stuck it in once. How they did it so many days before, after or during their period. The condom broke. He shot it on me and not in me. Are these girls just trolling or are they really that naive? And if they are really that naive. What aren't parents educating both their sons AND daughters on exactly how a girl gets pregnant; what condoms and birth control are; how to properly use it; how BOTH partners are responsible for birth control. Outside of whatever moral objections parents have. Or the belief that using BC will encourage them to do it more. Whatever argument. They're going to do it if they decide to. If you can't convince them how important you think it may be to wait. What is so wrong about educating them on how not to become young parents? How to show some self responsibility? Its sad that they feel the need to come here and find their answers. Granted, some of them may not have a parent(s) who give a damn about educating them. Conservative and moralists object to teaching it in schools. If someone doesn't give them correct information. Where does it end?

I completely agree, because I was once of these girls writing the question 6 years ago. My dad assumed my mom already taught me about birth control. My mom never felt comfortable or even educated enough herself to teach me. I became pregnant years later by the only guy I ever had sex with and in a long term relationship with and it wasn't a surprise, my friends say that it sounds like I planned it. I am now on a very reliable form of birth control. If I had been on regular birth control I never would have entertained getting pregnant at all... and I would have delayed having children until the time I had intentionally decided on, which is age 25 rather than age 19.
