Help me find the word I am looking for?
I can't think of a single word that expresses the way I am feeling (or at least part of it)
Im looking for a single word that describes this:
Im moving in a few months and, as time comes closer, I really realize that everything is going to change...I think about I will move, but it seems like I will never get there. Then I look at my soon to be neighbors and am just like "Holy f*ck. This is really happening. Everything is going to change."....or maybe "This is really happening. I realize this now"
Im looking for a single word that best expresses both of my thoughts (the lines enclosed in quotation marks). Any ideas? Please try to stay with single words, but a few words are fine.

Well, you could say that the change is just now starting to "register" or "sink in". You could also say that you're finally "digesting", "soaking up", "assimilating", "grasping", or "absorbing" the situation.
I don't think any of these terms do the feeling justice, but this is all I could come up with for now. I hope you enjoy the fresh start!
