Y&R: Any word on the "New Adam"?

Last I heard was that MM was spotted at CBS studios where YR tapes and alot of people have been speculating he's returning as Adam, it could mean he is but could also mean he was on the lot to tape for another series, keep in mind a lot of tv shows tape at CBS.

We are seeing more and more of Adam's "hand" and yesterday we saw his full body (minus his head) plus his henchman said "you'll be able to return to them in a few weeks" which means Adam IS coming back soon and given that YR tapes 4-6 weeks in advance he should be popping up really soon.

This tells me one of two things- a) they are bringing back MM as Adam b) they have a big named actor taking over the role of Adam and want to shock the audience.... either way CBS knows the show is plummeting in ratings and needs a big shock boosting to shake things up... basically don't expect some newbie actor to take over the role of Adam.

They did NOT hire Cameron Mathison .....

"Just to clear up some rumors... There is absolutely NO indication that I am going to Y&R to play Adam Newman," Mathison posted on his official Twitter feed. "Thanks for all the support tho."

Earlier this month, online chatter had Mathison being offered the role after the actor was spotted at the Y&R studios. The Emmy-nominated actor was, however, at the Y&R lot to tape an interview with his former costar Cady McClain (ex-Dixie Martin; Kelly Andrews, Y&R).

Jill Farren Phelps seems to not only ignore the Y&R fans’ wishes, it’s almost as if she does the exact opposite of what her devoted viewers want to see. Instead of taking the fans’ desires into consideration, Phelps seems to be set out to prove she is the one in charge of the soap opera, and her decision is final. The big-headed Y&R producer seems to forget that without the fans she wouldn’t have a show to produce .... The odds of Jill Farren Phelps casting Trevor St. John are slim to none though, just because of the simple fact that St. John is who the fans want.

I haven't seen anything official. MM was seen at CBS studios recently and is back on Twitter, he also started following some of his former coworkers from Y&R again. But any other information is vague.

I think he's trying to put everything behind him and is looking for new work. I just hope he doesn't do anything else to get himself in trouble, I don't know if he groped someone or not, but he clearly rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. I think he'd be better off on another show, not Y&R.

No, I don't believe MM is coming back and they have not choosing a new guy to play Adam.

Only MS has joining GH and have NOT heard anything on MM or BM joining GH either.

What we have been hearing was lots of speculations and rumors about this, so we will have to wait and see.

Hope to see MM and BM come back if only they get rid of JFP!!

Last I heard that Michael Muhney might be joining the cast of General Hospital like Billy Miller and Michelle Stafford did.

Havent heard a word on who will be playing the New Adam. I wish MM would come back he was Adam to me.
