For some reason I have this deep suspicion of militant feminist.
I feel like they are trying to project their issues onto me, and what is implicated by their claims is disturbing.
Do any other males feel this way about feminism?

I find it's sad that so few men here in Gender Studies even understand really what feminism is about. I think it's really you projecting your own insecurities and anti-feminist propaganda onto the idea of women having rights.
I do not know why some men just do not understand the golden rule - do unto others - that is really what it's all about - if men treated women with the respect they want to have, there would be no problem.
