Not at all. Only reality is needed to establish equality. If that is what we want to actually achieve. In order to do so we need to give everybody the same rights which we have done in all the western nations. We need to confer equal responsibilities on everyone which we have not yet done, as women do not bear the all the same responsibilities that men were assigned in order to get their rights.

We do NOT need to discriminate against people today in order to correct some old injustices from the past. This is where many people (feminists particularly) get off course by continuating the cycle of discrimination for yet another generation (3 of them now). The way to end discrimination is to NOT discriminate. This should be obvious.

We are quite on the right track. However, listening to some feminists here would have you believe that we are still living in 1960 with a myriad of women who have no options in life, cannot work and must depend on a man, and is a victim of sexism by every man at all hours of the day.

If a group needs a term/name in order to separate themselves from a group or society, chances are they are more extreme than the general public.

I have no love for feminists.

Not all men demean woman, and not all woman treat men right.

Feminists are tyrants. They don't know what equality is

The MRAs and anti-feminists here in Gender Studies rarely or never admit to systematic discrimination against women. Some call themselves equalists and they pretend it's all equal now - no problem they think - we only need to keep the status quo. They even deny the concept of patriarchy. They are men so see no problem that every measure except of education in some countries favours them.

They see that it's no problem that women are poorer, make less money, do more unpaid work and retire poorer despite having worked hard all their life. They are OK with only a fraction of women being in power positions. They never accept any rape statistics and systematic violence and objectification of women and the toll it takes on women. This makes sense - they benefit.

Thankfully it's not all men that are jaded like this. Many are principled and fair but it has to be fair to both genders.
