Firefox screen has changed to text?

I use Mozilla and have Yahoo as the default screen. It used to have news articles, pictures, etc. It now only has text on the left side. How can I get back my other screen?

    I reinstalled it and it does the same thing. Any other suggestions? Thanks for any further guidance you might be able to give.

    just reset or install new version
