They both raise valid points and then they lose credibility by bashing one gender and praising the other.

I don't know much about this new MRA fad, but I think feminists are definitely more interesting and fun to talk to than normal women. They like guys to hit them and don't wanna be treated like a delicate little bug that might get squished. They think it's wrong to blame rape on women. 99 percent of the time, it's the rapist's fault he couldn't keep his dick in his pants. Some people just have a hard time understanding what the word no means, I guess.. Other traits they possess are not be talked down to and not expected to do 99 percent of the chores, while there husband throws the trash out because he had it rough at the office that day.

Yes. One more often than the other.

Example - Feminists and MRAs agree women do not make as much money on average, men earn more. Valid point. Feminists say this is due to workplace discrimination, they only get .75 for a man's 1.00 because they're women. Very unlikely, and also worth noting that this practice has been illegal for many years. MRAs point out many career choices men and women willingly make starting when they are young and single that lead to the earning differences.

Yes, though I find feminists spend most of their effort trying to dismiss the discrimination they have promoted.

I think all policies of gender discrimination are relevant, which ever way they discriminate. The law should not gender discriminate in my opinion.

I think rape is a very valid topic for feminists, but it's sad their focus is on misrepresenting it and wanting to punish males, guilty or not. Most men will never rape and don't condone rape. Feminists should be reaching out to them, not alienating them.

Equal pay for equal work, equal voting rights, equal ability to own land or sign legal documents were very legitimate feminist issues back in the day when those things were not equal.

only feminists. Men’s Rights Activism is not a movement centered on providing help to disadvantaged, endangered, or abused men and boys; it is a movement formed directly out of hatred for another movement (feminism), and that is not activism at all. MRAs cared about more than yelling “gotcha” at feminists

Yes, I'm a feminist so I'm going to address those of the MRA.

I think that the idea that men are not seen as victims in DV violence is very valid but they do not go far enough with it to suggest solutions that could work for couples.

The over-imprisonment of males and prison rape is also important. Again there are issues here that are not addressed - like the number of minority males in prison.

I think issues of fair custody are important - but most don't seem to know the laws and paint a picture that the articles I have read don't agree with. Men who fight for primary custody in the stats get it 50% of the time - that sounds fair to me.

The issue of suicide really bothers me - with anyone but the huge numbers of young gay men that attempt suicide when they first realize they are gay is heart breaking and they ignore that - it's not right.

    Many.

Rape is a serious problem that has to be addressed.

The media causes poor body image in women.

Some men who act insulting to women seem to get some sexual pleasure from it.

There should be domestic violence shelters for men (or whatever service might be necessary).

There should be more of a movement to prevent prison rape.

    edited to add:

And, as Ya coffee says: the over-imprisonment of men.
