Definitely not a mouse or rat. Way too big! Looks like a squirrel to me.. are you hand-raising it?
If you are, that's so cool! Check with the police? or wildlife center about what to do with it once its grown. You may be able to keep it with a permit.

definitely a squirrel i had raised one when i was younger with a friend after hurricane Ike it fell from a tree
