Menopause?
It's been 2 months since my LMP, so I had a whole array of blood work done. Menopause was the last thing on my mind since I just turned 40 and I haven't missed any periods before. My estrogen, progesterone, and FSH levels were NOT checked for some reason, but my LH levels were. And I am still in shock that my LH level is 83.4. This is higher than the post-menopause charts even go. Since my LMP, I have had what I now understand as hot flashes and night sweats. I've had heart palpitations and extreme fatigue for the last year, but attributed everything to the fact that I was about to turn 40. Could I really be menopausal/ or even post-menopausal with that level? I feel like I had no warning, it was just here all of a sudden.
1 AnswerWomen's Health5 years agoMen who had vasectomies years ago?
My husband had a vasectomy almost 11 years ago (scalpel then burned, ouch I know!) He has never experienced any pain or complications since the procedure, but is now explaining to me that he is in severe pain where the cauterizing took place. I've tried researching, but I can only find chronic pain issues. It was sudden with no precipitating factors. Ideas?
2 AnswersMen's Health6 years agoNeed crispy waffles?
There was a huge sale (lots of gas points) on aunt jamima's complete pancake mix. I have a pretty high end Belgian waffle iron (temp set to medium), but the waffles from this mix, come out soft and not crispy. Any tips?

I also take additional supplements. Vit b12 and Magnesium.(for fibromyalgia and migraines) I haven't taken vitamins in years and I know you can take too much, but these should be relatively safe, right?

I can't move it and it's very red! It hurts so so bad. I can only walk a little bit. And I don't think it's broken. I do ballet but I don't think that has anything to do with it.

2 AnswersReptiles10 years agoEnglish mastiff very picky eater! Help?
My 16 mo english mastiff is a very picky eater (we have always caved in and mixed human food w/ her dog food so she'd eat). We have decided to not do this anymore. This is day 4. On day 2, she ate 1/2 cup of (blue buffalo) food. Day 3, she ate 1 cup. She is staying hydrated, but I'm concerned w/ the lack of eating. We were told that we have to stick with this plan and not give her additional treats or human food. But, will she eventually give up and eat normal again? (We will never feed her human food again)
