I take a multi-vitamin daily?
I also take additional supplements. Vit b12 and Magnesium.(for fibromyalgia and migraines) I haven't taken vitamins in years and I know you can take too much, but these should be relatively safe, right?

If you're starting, take 1(multivitamin + supplement) with 2 meals(breakfast/dinner, or lunch/dinner) for 3 months, to build a reserve, and then just take 1 a day, for upkeep.
And no, most Food-Agencies these days advice you to take a multivitamin/minerals, because the type of vegetables, and fruits used these days(and even meat) aren't as rich in vitamins, and minerals, as they used to. The industry has gone to quick-grow, which means less vitamins/minerals, and more sugar to speed up the process from growth to the dinner-table.
So it's safe, any excess will simply get peed out.
