If you do not oppose gay marriage, would you oppose bisexual marriage?

Gay marriage is becoming legal in more and more states as the acceptance of it broadens. Would you be in favor of a bisexual person being able legally to be married to both a woman and a man at the same time, assuming all parties involved were consenting adults? Why or why not?

Just FYI, I do believe this should be legal, and I am not opposed to gay marriage. But, I'd like to hear others' opinions.

Simple answer...NO! If you have no issue with two people of the same gender (two men or two women) being legally married with all the rights (and pitfalls) that such allows, and you (obviously) have no issue with two heterosexuals of opposite gender being married (man and woman), then why would you have issue with that same man and woman being married if one or both are (openly or not and/or actively) true bisexuals? The only ones who should care about that the two persons who are involved with each other. I know married or committed male/female couples where the man AND the woman are actively bisexuals (he or she have had and/or open to sex with someone of their own gender as much as one of the opposite one) and/or one partner is transgendered. All that should matter is that they love and are happy with each other. Lose the religious arguments. I get them but religion and sexual preferences should be separate issues. Period. In 2014, the only people who haven't (willingly) done something that would be a sin per the Bible or other religious texts and/or beliefs are babies and children under 5. Get over it. (And no, Ryde,On)...I don't condone bestiality, any kind of sex between adults and minors (especially younger than 12) or stuff like that).

Well as some states still allow polygamy, then you can get married there. However, right now most states you have to make a choice.

I believe you love who you love, but that doesn't mean I think you should be able to marry 20 people. Pick one and get married.

Like a 3 way marriage? Or polygamy?

I don't think polygamy should be legal.

But if the three of them wanted to be married to each other and no one else then I think it's different. I've never heard of anyone in that situation but I think people are entitled to the same rights as everyone else and they deserve happiness.

Hoo boy, another advocate who doesn't understand how bisexuality works... What you're talking about is group marriage (polyamory may also apply). Plain and simple. If that's what a group wants, awesome, I'm totally in favor.

As a bisexual person who is in a monogamous marriage, good god, this makes my head explode. Being bisexual does not make a person incapable of monogamy. Let me break this down for you. Straight people can be monogamous despite being attracted to their opposite gender. Gay people can be monogamous despite being attracted to their same gender. Bisexual people can be monogamous, wait for it... despite being attracted to both genders! It's not that hard! I'm not any less committed to my husband because I've had previous relationships with other men and women. I'm not less focused on my marriage just because there are penises and vaginas all around me all the time. It's cool that you're for marriage equality, but jeez... Educate yourself.

To be bisexual, it means that you are wanting sex with both sexes. That tells me that you're not going to be true to anyone you marry and may seek out others to cheat with or by polyamorous with with your partner. Polygamy is not allowed in the US legally so the law would have to be changed and I doubt that will happen.

That would fall under "polygamy"... I don't believe it is legal in most states, it's not a common practice in the US.
