once again, lifting weights has no effect on ur height?

this is getting really annoying, bunch of people who has never even lifted weights or knows nothing of it comes here on diet and fitness and tells ppl lies, why is it?

    Depends, if you lift at 8 your bones will harden pre maturely stunting there growth, tho, on the other hand other believe lifting weight at 14+ increases height because it boost growth hormones. Makes sense because my one friend lifted to young and now he's like 5,4 but at the time he was the taller then every one else

    Just wanted to say, it can but only by an inch and that's if you lift heavy weights above your head while you're growing

    If it gives people an excuse not to exercise then sure people are going to use it lol

    To clarify, there is no credible studies that show a correlation with weight lifting and an individual's height, it's bullshit.
