Becoming a Semi Truck Driver...need help?

Okay so ive set my mind that ima become a semi truck driver...always loved semis as a kid and school just wasnt my thing so i figure id do something i like. My question is since ill be getting started soon what kind of truck would you guys recommend for a first truck. And also what are some tips for buying a used truck. Another question is about the trailer. I was thinking maybe getting a 28" trailer to start off with but is that too small? Would i be able to find loads with a small trailer like that? Any help would be very helpful to me...Thanks!

Longer trailers are easier to reverse I know it sounds silky.

The problem is getting work. Best to drive for a company to get experience and to see if you like it before buying a truck.

Even if you are not of age for a commercial driver license. Differents parts to a professional driver. One is driving backing a semi truck hooked to a trailer, or double clutch. Many people go to truck driving school without knowing how, a few fail and have no job. Tips for buying a used truck..a affordable truck with low miles. A semi truck pulls a 48ft yet mostly a 53 ft trailer. Dry Van, flat bed, refrigerated, car hauler, over weight and over size and hazardous materials. Find all the information pertaining beforehand.

will need a CDL A license if you don't have one already. will need to be 18 to get it and won't be able to leave your state with it till 21. there are brokers who have lists of companies that have loads that need to be delivered. but most probably will have 53 foot trailers. you get paid by the mile for over the road runs
