Half a dozen bright flashes of light,and we would all be living in caves ! That would be WW3.

Across the world, there would be flattened lands strewn with rubble and waste, while there are heavy battles between the Western and the Eastern powers. Millions would be killed in this fearsome event, with scores killed by thermo nuclear warfare.

a conventional world war would result in a victory for the NATO countries, no doubt. Europe and America can overpower any country they go to war with conventionally. There would be the side of Russia, Iran and North Korea against Britain, Germany, Israel, USA and their European allies. I can't rule out China's invlonvement either, but if they were to side with anyone they'd side with NATO/USA. North Korea would go ballistic with nukes on S. Korea and Japan in any war they're pushed into, so there is really no way that WW3 will be strictly conventional. Anyways, I think even though N. Korea would launch dozens of nukes, the sheer power of the US and it's Pacific allies would overpower the fat man named Kim before much damage is done. Iran of course would spark a nuclear war with Israel, which would pretty much destroy the whole middle east before the conflict comes to an end. Russia vs Europe and USA would result in Europe and USA victory if it were strictly conventional, but nuclear between those 2 sides would result in the obliteration of the entire world.

Take your cell phone and make sure the flash on the camera is on. Take a selfie. World War III will look something like that.

Obama needs WW3.

Neither side is so dumb or crazy as to let it get to that. There's a lot of vested interest in the West to keep distrust of Russia up to a point. But that is only to a certain point.
