How to make acrylic nails last longer?

I got acrylic nails for the first time yesterday and I am really pleased with them.I am going on holiday for two weeks on Tuesday and I am wondering how I can make sure they last the whole trip.

    Acrylic nails are durable and permanent. You need to get fills every 2-3 weeks and that's all you have to do to keep them nice and strong. Your acrylics will be fine while you're on vacation but they will need fills when you get back home.

    Put a top coat and it'll stay up for a week or two
