Do you believe in heaven?

One of my best friends and recent ex boyfriend died in a motorcycle wreck 2 nights ago. I am trying to get used to this shock and comprehend what this means. I keep thinking about heaven and hoping this was just apart of gods plan. I hope that he fulfilled his life on earth and God called him back, relieving the pain and suffering of a life on earth. I am desperately trying to validate that there is a heaven. I just need to know he is happy now and safe and not just gone like he never even existed.

Do you think heaven exists? Do you think god takes the good people young?

I believe in heaven. There isn't proof that there is or isn't heaven. But I believe something has to happen to our souls, who we are, after death. If your friends were good people, they are watching over you right now. There is no way to prove it one way or the other, try talking to friends and family; and find what you believe in. Your place in the world. It's normal to wonder this after something so horrible happened. I guess the way I look at it is, we are more than bodies and survival instinct. Our souls, we, don't just disappear in the end of our bodies.

Eccl. 9:5: “The living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all.”

Its clear teaching is this: When a person dies, he ceases to exist. Death is the opposite of life. The dead do not see or hear or think. Not even one part of us survives the death of the body. We do not possess an immortal soul or spirit.

James 1:13 answers: “When under trial, let no one say: ‘I am being tried by God.’ For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone.” So God is never the source of the wickedness you see in the world around you. (Job 34:10-12) Granted, he does allow bad things to happen. But there is a big difference between allowing something to happen and causing it.

Eccl. 9:11: “Time and unforeseen occurrence befall them all.” (Thus, not due to any foreseeing of a person’s life, but due to chance he may become a victim of unfortunate circumstances.)

For a law to be a law, there must be consequences of rewards and punishment. Moral and religious laws demand a Heaven and Hell.

God's kingdom is real. However, the entry to God's kingdom is restricted people who earned their entry by doing what God wants them to do here on earth.

Sorry but,So far no one has shown any kind of real proof of any kind of any heaven or afterlife or god.

Just take comfort in the memories of the time you spent with him.
