Post-acne redness?
I don't get breakouts as often as I used to, only when I eat badly like lots of sugary or greasy foods. I only seemed to breakout badly on my forehead and mildly on my jawline and around my lips sometimes. Now I am left with an uneven skin tone with red skin on my forehead. I have stopped using acne products and now use cleansers and exfoliaters. The exfoliaters work amazingly to smooth out the skin and reduces the redness a little but not all of it. Any foods or products that might help?

To avoid getting spots all you need to do is just stop touching and unnecessarily washing your face. The oils that your pores secrete serve to prevent bacteria getting into them. Washing away these oils exposes your pores to the air and to bacteria, especially if soap is used. Using cleaning products on your face just increases the likelihood of spots emerging. The most you should do is let water flow over your face in the shower. No rubbing/scrubbing and only dry by lightly dabbing with a clean towel. And another tip that may help...
Flip your pillow over every night, horizontally one night, vertically the next. That way, you are less likely to press your face against the oils you rubbed off on it a previous night. Make sure you change your pillow case at least once a week too.

There are products to reduce redness...even tone. They are in the cosmetic department. They aren't 'make-up', but soothing creams.

Omg I get this too! But since I've been going to the gym and drinking lots of water the redness is going on my face and I'm having less breakouts ect. If you don't want to exercise try steaming your face ( hot water in a large bowl and put your face over it)
I hope this helps you! 💕
