Ecological System question?

Consider an ecological community in which several species of small fish feed on zooplankton which in turn feed on phytoplankton. A large predatory fish is then introduced into the community. predict some of the possible consequences of this introduction for each trophic level

    In the short term population of small fish would be reduce as a result of predation. The population of zooplankton would increase because fewer small fish would be eating them. The population of phytoplankton would be reduced as a result. As long as enough phytoplankton remains to feed the total population of zooplankton the situation will be stable.

    Come on, think this through. You don't really have to know ecology to answer this.
