Why don't we(the U.N) go to war with Russia already?

Because initiating war with a nuclear-armed country with the capability of actually using their nukes effectively is utter madness.

First you need to change the name from U.N. to U.S. because every time something happens we end up doing the brunt of the work.

Geez all you need to do is open your eyes and you can plainly see it! France and the rest of Europe are too tied to Russia with trade (especially oil) so they don't want to do anything that would rock the boat.

Are you mad? The Ivans have nuclear missiles and will wipe us out. Even if they decide not to use their WMDs, Russia is so big it's impossible to invade

Because in order for the UN to do that there would have to be resolution approved by the Security Council and Russia is a permanent member and would certainly veto it.
