General problem with the design of computers?

All the laptops that I have come across have the USB ports too close to each other. It is therefore impossible to have a USB plug alongside a dongle (for example), without the dongle being plugged into a USB extension. It cannot be difficult to have more space between USB ports, and would certainly make things easier for users.I cannot write to all the computer manufacturers, but I wondered if there is a trade association comprising such companies, to which I can write.

    The benefit of USB is that if your dongle doesnt fit just plug in an extension or chain them somehow. You can get USB hubs.

    Write your local congressman, tell them your dongle doesn't fit.

    Most newer laptops that i have seen have usb ports on both sides.
