Aggressive Puppy? help!?
So i have two 15 week shih tzu puppies, male and female puppy. The male is acting too agressive. When i try petting him he growls and if i don stop petting him his growls go louder and then he snaps at me biting me, hard enough to cause scares/blood despite his 3 pound size.
This happens during when hes chewing on a toy, sleeping or just when i'm messing around with him. The female never growls at humans no matter what they do, only at him when they are play fighting. I heard he thinks hes the alpha, so how do I show him humans are in charge not him?
(When he growls I hit him on the head or squeeze him //not too tight// saying no but i know thats not right and i tried putting him in the punish crate but he continues)

There are many things you can do to show him you're the alpha!
• When you're feeding him put a snack by his bowl before you give her the food and eat the snack to make it seem like you're eating from his bowl and then feed him as the pack leader always eats first
• when he's being aggressive get on top of him and hold him down until he stops trying to get out (which can take a long time) however do not choke him. He may try to scratch, bite but don't let him know it's bothering you.
• Never let him on your bed/couches because in a pack, the leader always gets the most comfortable spot.
• If you're making eye contact in the dog world that's a challenge , if you do that do not blink, or look away first as that will signify he's the leader
Always stay calm and assertive, never nervous or anxious, say no in a strong, assertive voice. Google can also really help as there's a lot of helpful articles, sorry if I called him a her a few times, my dog is a female and I'm used to saying her.

First of all, crates should NOT be for punishment! Especially if you have crate trained dogs who go in there when you leave or for bed.
Second, he may just not want to be bothered if hes doing something.
My 12 week old puppy has decided she likes body parts now (fingers, wrists, toes, ankles, thighs, the whole 9 yards) and I just tap her on the snout, say "NO" and stick one of her toys in her mouth. The nipping can be from teething pain, and maybe your boy is having a little more pain that the girl. It may also just be that he is a boy (assuming not yet fixed) and he may indeed be the alpha male. One of my other dogs is the alpha male and he is my dog, and it is very obvious. He is nice to me and doesn't bite/ growl/ etc to me but is quick to with pretty much everyone else. He may have a designated "person" and it may just be that it isn't you. All that means is you just need to kind of leave him be and let him do his thing, and take advantage of the times he IS in the mood to play with you! :)
