My vaginal fluid is thick and red?

Okay, so I know this probably sounds a little gross, but for the past few weeks whenever I masturbate with a toy, my vaginal fluid becomes quite thick and red. Like a blood red. This only happens when I use the toy, but when using my fingers, it's all normal down there. I'm almost sure it has nothing to do with my period as when it started happening, I was around a week and a half off my last period. It doesn't really hurt when I masturbate, but I'm thinking maybe I've cut myself inside and when using the toy, I just irritate it? But wouldn't it have healed quite quickly on its own? I don't really know, but yeah, any help would be great

P.S. If you're only going to suggest going to a gynaecologist, please don't answer this because I'm looking for people that may have had experience from this or could at least give me a few ideas before I go to one.

Spotting during sex is normal, and therefore spotting after using a toy is as well.

If you think you have cut yourself you need to give it a few weeks (yes weeks) to heal, with no toys going in there! Try that and see if it improves.

It's wise to contact a doctor if you bleed after sex. It could be cervical erosion, or it could be something more sinister.

To be honest, other people's experiences don't change things for you, so see your GP as soon as you can.

STOP using the Toy or you will need a gynecologist. ASAP. You are likely giving yourself a nasty infection by using the toy.
