  • When should I have my consultation for my tattoo?

I have a tattoo booked with Grace Neutral in London on the 28th, it has been confirmed and I have paid my deposit, but it's coming to 2 weeks before my tattoo and I still haven't been contacted by her (we previously exchanged emails where I described my idea).

This will be my first tattoo and I don't want to annoy her by asking for a design idea if that's not how it works, but because I don't live locally, I can't just pop in.

Should I email her again with what I want? Will she contact me? Will she draw it up when I'm there? Will I have to pay for that time if she does?

    Please help, I'm so confused!

  • Loose wire in brace, what should I do?

The wire that should be attached to my back brace has somehow come out (I don t know for how long, I only just realised after checking my teeth for bits). It isn t in a position where it s hurting, or even completely out of line, instead it is sitting easily just below where the brace itself bulges out. It isn t irritating my gums at all, but my next appointment isn t until almost exactly a month away...Is this something I need to get fixed right away, or would it be best to put some wax on it until then and plead ignorance?

  • Sore throat after amoxicillin?

Yesterday, I was prescribed amoxicillin pending a recent tooth extraction infection, and I took my first dosage last night. However, when I woke up this morning, my throat felt so dry and stuck together when I tried to swallow. It feels sore and no amount of drinking water is making it feel better. I'm already taking co-codamol for help with the infection pain, but I don't think I should end up taking three sets of pills at the same time.

Is this caused by the amoxicillin and can I expect it to calm down once I finish my course of antibiotics?

  • Can a doctor help with my infected extraction site?

I got two of my molars extracted 4 days ago and in the last few days, my gums around the extraction site have been very sore, I have had bad-tasting leaking from the affected area and bit of yellow that come out and smell. I haven't done anything 'bad' since my extraction. I have brushed my teeth carefully, rinsed with salt water and kept to soft foods. I'm in so much pain on and off and will be trying to get an appointment at my local dentist tomorrow to hopefully get on some antibiotics. However, because my dentist is quite busy, there is a chance that I won't be able to get booked in, but I'm only 17 and cannot really afford to be paying for an emergency dentist. If I were to go to a doctor, would they be able to write me an emergency prescription for this, and if not, what's my best option (because waiting is just excruciating and I'll have to wait another 2 weeks before my next scheduled appt)?

  • Is this normal after a tooth extraction?

First of all, I'm sorry for any gross-sounding descriptions. But, I got two teeth extracted yesterday and on the more "difficult to remove" tooth (my 4th upper tooth in, I think a molar) was in a crowded space surrounded by a wonky tooth and an eye tooth.

Almost 24 hours after the extraction, I have noticed these yellow-ish almost creamy coloured spikes hanging down slightly, that look like the tiny ends of rice. I have tried poking at them to see if it's food-related, but they won't budge, just end up bleeding slightly and aching. I've read that you can get granulation tissue, but it's not covering the entire surface, just three little sticky out bits. I can't find any photos similar to myself about this, so I'm confused as to what it could be.

I did mess up a little bit last night by eating rice and getting a piece stuck in either gap, but they easily popped right back out after I pushed them with my tongue.

I don't seem to have any puss or bad smell or taste, so I'm not sure if it's an infection, but compared to my other extraction (which is just pure red and clear) it seems odd.

Could it be ripped gum from a crowded extraction?

(Can't upload a photo because of an error but I will try again ASAP)

  • What is a cheap VEGAN-friendly meal that you would usually just throw together?

At the minute, I usually just opt for throwing a bunch of vegetables in a frying pan and adding some vegan-friendly sweet chilli sauce, but I'm transitioning my boyfriend and I want to have some things that might make him more excited than what I go for.

Your favourite meals would be awesome to hear about, as my cooking creativity is quite plain!!!

  • Yellow Crust and Leaking on Stretched Ears?

I ve recently stretched up my ears (one at 3mm the other at 2mm) and they have both been collecting a yellow crust and started leaking a yellow liquid substance. I try cleaning them with salt and water as often as possible, but when I try to get rid of the crust, it seems to rip and make the yellow leaking start up again.

I m currently using acrylic, but will soon be swapping over to metal hopefully for some improvements.

Has anyone else experienced this sort of thing? And if so, have you managed to fix it quickly or has it taken a long while? Also, will it cause visual problems once it s healed? (Scarring, discolouration etc)

    Thank you!

  • My vaginal fluid is thick and red?

Okay, so I know this probably sounds a little gross, but for the past few weeks whenever I masturbate with a toy, my vaginal fluid becomes quite thick and red. Like a blood red. This only happens when I use the toy, but when using my fingers, it's all normal down there. I'm almost sure it has nothing to do with my period as when it started happening, I was around a week and a half off my last period. It doesn't really hurt when I masturbate, but I'm thinking maybe I've cut myself inside and when using the toy, I just irritate it? But wouldn't it have healed quite quickly on its own? I don't really know, but yeah, any help would be great

P.S. If you're only going to suggest going to a gynaecologist, please don't answer this because I'm looking for people that may have had experience from this or could at least give me a few ideas before I go to one.

  • What are the lines called that prisoners write on cell walls?

Okay, so I know this is a bit of a random question, which is why I'm asking it here, but do you know those lines are called that people write to symbolize five of something, with four lines standing straight next to each other and then a fifth going diagonally through them? I cant write it with my keyboard, so it's hard to explain. If anyone knows what I mean, I would be really grateful!!!

  • Cosplay ideas for Eurogamer 2014?

So, I'm going to eurogamer this year and I've had a few ideas on cosplay ideas, like Assassins Creed (Ezio), Skyrim and things like that...But I'm really stuck on what to choose. I want to choose something that not everyone is going to do on first choice, that I can do well without ruining it, and that is a decent character. Any ideas? Oh, by the way...I'm a girl if that's important!
