Loose wire in brace, what should I do?

The wire that should be attached to my back brace has somehow come out (I don t know for how long, I only just realised after checking my teeth for bits). It isn t in a position where it s hurting, or even completely out of line, instead it is sitting easily just below where the brace itself bulges out. It isn t irritating my gums at all, but my next appointment isn t until almost exactly a month away...Is this something I need to get fixed right away, or would it be best to put some wax on it until then and plead ignorance?

You would be best to have it looked at and not wait for a month.

Having a wire sit where it doesn't really belong can lengthen your treatment time and make things move improperly.
