Most of the conversations in my mostly inactive group are gone :( ?

Or maybe I am just not seeing where they might be located? The neo layout is not intuitive for me and also my computer has been giving me issues and there seem to be places I should be able to click and nothing happens. Or is there a way to export this type of info elsewhere if it can no longer be supported? The older messages when the group project_venture was more active are very meaningful to me, and they are all gone. The newer messages that were kept are mostly recurring birthday and anniversary reminders. There needs to be a better process to notify users when a change like this is about to occur, especially if it is irreversible. I really hope it isn't, but am afraid that it is.

Is there anything I can do about this? Any yahoo moderators on this site that could help? thanks!!
