What is the best brand name Tire?
A Certified mechanic told me Michelin is good but dry rots faster....said hancook ( might not be spelled right ) I know Michelin sure rides better.

You will probably discover that the "Best" tire at any given moment is the one the mechanic is trying to sell you. Hankook is a korean tire Hankook is the english spelling of the korean word...Korea. Its a good tire, low priced. Its not a great tire but it will do.

Overall,, Michelin and Bridgestone model tires have the best quality. However, every tire makers offers many models which vary in quality and performance type. Hankook does have a few quality models, but overall Michelin is a safer bet overall.

Michelin might be the best tire made, Dunlop & pirelli are also excellent tire makers.
