Moved to a new house rental CFL bulbs burning up in 2 days... why?

The lights fickle a little then a buss noise ends in a pop. 3 bulbs tonight...

I have used this same brand CFL Bulbs for a couple years... Is this a quality issue or do I need an electrician at the new house?

Update:

I live in the USA and purchased the CFL bulbs locally for the electrical systems of our area... Bulb affected are in multiple bulbs circuits

You didn't specify where in the world you live, but shortly, some countries have standard 120vac voltage in homes for lighting, appliances, etc. , others use 220vac.

Some countries use 50 hertz frequency, some use 60hz.

The main thing that is going to blow a CFL is using the wrong type for the voltage.

Another possibility is wide voltage fluctuations, this might come from bad power coming from the power company, or possibly large motor loads on the same circuit as your lights. (refrigerator, washing machine, pumps, etc)

As long as the voltage is correct and steady, there really are no other influences that would shorten the life like you say you are seeing.
