On September 1st, 2001, a 20-year-old woman died of a ruptured cerebral artery after riding Montezooma's Revenge. On September 21st the same year, a 40-year-old woman, supposedly obese, fell out of the boat when it plunged and died of multiple blunt force trauma.
These were the only two deaths at Knott's Berry Farm.
