How do you get audio out of HDMI?
I want to buy an LCD monitor for my xbox, but the problem is the ones I find either have built in speakers, or no speakers, and no 3.5mm jack to get the audio out.... How can I get the audio out from HDMI? my friend has a screen where it has a 3.5mm jack coming out of the screen so you can just plug in headphones

I was always under the impression that HDMI carries audio. You might have to make a settings change on the XBOX to allow audio to be sent via HDMI. Just like some PC's you have a choice on where to output audio.
Most TV only use the 3.5mm jack for audio in from VGA and not from HDMI since it carries audio.
