The rule here is that an answer *must* answer the question asked. Not quibble about it by asking what it means, etc.

In fact you should have reported the question as chat, but that's by the by.

You didn't answer the question as asked so violation not following the question and answer format. always make sure you answer the question asked.

That's happened to me a couple of times, even after the poster selected my response as "best answer". Don't sweat it. It could have been a mistake...

You are answering a question with a question, therefore, you are breaching the q-and-a format. You must reply to a question with a definitive answer.
