Is the CDC planning on keeping Ebola virus ?

Why did the CDC bring Ebola infected people to the USA ? Is it because they want to breed the virus and store it like they do all them other deadly things they have like Anthrax, rican and the infamous safe harbored box of small pox in a store room in a fridge ?

Why else would they bring two infected people here ? Could have treated them in Africa just as easy

Update:

They have no right to be treated here just because they are Americans . they should be quarantined like any other person . there is no treatment available for ebola so bringing them here does not mean better treatment . Keep in mind that they caught it while wearing protective suits .

If they already have samples of the ebola virus in the CDC then I suppose my question about that is mute .

Because those people are American Citizens and deserve treatment in America. Breeding the virus? Why would they bring people to do that? All they'd need to do is quietly get a few samples and ship them over. You wouldn't even hear about it.

Your logic is very faulty. Why make a big production that you notice? Much smarter to do it quietly.

Which they did. Almost four decades ago.

I would imagine Ebola has been on a list of viruses that could be used as a weapon. For this reason the faster the government can create a vaccine for it the better. Although I think you're right in saying they could have just as easily been treated over there.

Since the CDC has 15 top of the line facilities for quarantine in the US, I don't see why they shouldn't bring them to the US. Better security and treatment for the patients in question. Treatment elsewhere means delayed responses.

They would most likely already have samples. The trouble with Ebola is that it is very difficult to grow in a lab environment, which is why it is so difficult to create a vaccine.
