why would someone fake an online profile for a year to talk to you, than finally when they ball up and decide to talk they quit responding?

I imagine that happens all the time. The people on "dating sites" are losers who can't meet anybody any other way. But the problem is that they can't meet anybody EVER.... So when the relationship becomes real probably a good percentage of "dating site" people will tend to bugger off.

people that is people for you. They do it to your face also. People do and say the weirdest things.

Evolution is a class act by itself. Listen give thanks you found out. If you have money they love you ,if you lose a few k and cannot buy a dinner they get tired of you after a few months.

They don't feel the same connection with you now that you really know who they are so they want you out of their life.
