As I recall on episode 15, Hare died from the car explosion. But before her death, she sees Shu "dead". So, her instinct was to help cure him. What made me wonder was, Why didn't she decide to cure herself first, THEN cure Shu? That way, she would've still be alive. Is she not allowed to use her Void power on herself?

She could have, but she prioritized Shu instead and didn't have the chance to heal herself afterwards.
There is no indication given in the series that she could not use her void on herself, but she just made a choice.
