Is my puppy a blanket or bi GSD?
I was told that the black marking on her toes makes her a bi, but then told the tan on her face makes her a blanket... She's just a pet so it's not really important other than I'm curious the truth. What qualifies as a blanket or bi and how to n tell the differance on any shepherd. Thanks!
This picture is a week or so old and her toe markings are much darker now. They have darkened gradually over time since I brought her home, where as her tan markings have not changed much at all.

This dog is a black and tan bi-color dog. A blanket type of markings would have a tan body with a black back.
