i have researched raw and pretty sure that i'm going with it, but i cant find much about feeding to small dogs as far as amounts and how often. I did find LOTS saying it is great for them, and some recipes (not a lot). I would like some more information before i make up my mind. AND to know how often and what to feed a small dog.

  • What else can be an Easter basket?

I need some ideas for something that can be an easter basket other than a basket, box or bag. Its for a teen girl. Something she can use, but won't get shoved in the corner the day after Easter to collect junk. ANY ideas are helpful! Thanks!

  • Why isn t my cat eating? Should I worry?

I have a 9 year old indoor only cat. He is on the heavy side so he s been put on a diet where he is fed in the morning and evening and given a set amount of food. Normally he chows right down! But today he s nibbled a little and not really eaten. Should I be worried by this? He s eaten all his wet food and drinking normally. He has eaten a very small amount of dry food.

  • How do I get my GSD puppy to stop climbing gates?

I asked this once and obviously I wasn't clean (my fault sorry), but I'll try again. I have a tall 4 month old puppy who climbs baby gates, inside my home. I crate her in my bedroom currently, and she is not left for long periods... Just long enough for me to shop for food and what not ( and overnight.) She is NEVER left outside alone! But I would love to give her more room than a crate provides, when I must leave her home. But if she can get her front paws on the top of the baby gate she can get over it... I've tried three different gates. When I am at home she makes no attempt to go over the gates that block rooms she's not yet allowed in. So how do I stop her when I'm not home or do I keep cratering her and wait till she's older and just try it?!?

  • How do I stop my GSD puppy from climbing gates?

She's just turned 4 months old and while I'm home she's fine, no attempt... But while I'm gone she'll climb the gate. She's really leggy and if she can get her front paws on the top she'll get over. She is currently being crated because of this and she's in full blow teething. I world like to give her more room, but can't keep her behind a gate. (We've trued different gate styles)

Is my puppy a blanket or bi GSD?

I was told that the black marking on her toes makes her a bi, but then told the tan on her face makes her a blanket... She's just a pet so it's not really important other than I'm curious the truth. What qualifies as a blanket or bi and how to n tell the differance on any shepherd. Thanks!

What color will my gsd be?

Her father is a bi black and tan, and her mom is a saddle back. She hasn't changed at all from 5 weeks to just over 8 weeks. I don't care either way, she's a good girl, but just wondering if there is any way to tell. There were 4 girls in the littler. Mine and one other were both dark. One girl had LOTS of tan and I didn't get to see the 4th as she was already gone.

  • What are boxer females really like?

As we are getting two dogs...It has been decided that the boxer we get will be a female. I was kinda sad at this choice as I wanted a male...I have read that males are more carefree, calm, and more of a shadow dog (this is what I want). I also read females are more independent (not at all what I want)...Is this true?

She will be spayed of course, we are NOT breeding. I understand the requirements of this breed and am willing to put in the time in all areas.

Do you have a boxer female? What is she like? And what is her name....

I am leaning toward Zailey...but like Tilly, Sidney, Dani and Meadow. Good names?

  • What combination of Boxer and GSD should I get?

I know I want a Boxer and a GSD...but which way to go from there I am trying to get some information on. Which one should I get first? The Boxer or the GSD? Should I get a Male GSD and Female Boxer or Male Boxer and Female GSD?

I know about both breeds, and I plan to get the GSD first. I plan to have them altered ASAP! I have been trying to find information on the best combo, but have found very little so that is why I am asking. I have neither dog yet and am still looking at breeders....THIS IS FOR INFO ONLY! THANKS!!!

PS for those of you that don't know a GSD is a german shepherd dog.

  • What kind of fish to put in my tank?

So I have a little girl that loves fish, and am thinking of getting a small tank for her room (10 gal) of course I will clean it and it will have a filter, bubble-er and heater. I read that guppies and tetras do well in this kind of tank. Is this true? I would like some fun colored fish for the tank and not a HUGE number (no more than 10 - understanding that you need a gallon of water per inch of adult fish). What are some suggestion and good information sites as to how to set up the tank and what fish, how many of that kind and what we can mix in the tank! thanks!!
