Why were music videos in the 80's such the rage?
I can remember being a kid in the early 80's and MTV was a really big deal. We would spend all day watching videos and commenting on them. When thriller cam out, it was absolutely epic. Do teenagers even care about music videos today? It doesn't seem to be an interest anymore.

They were the rage because they were new and we didnt have anything that cool back in the early 80s. Teens probably dont care about music videos because they dont exist as much on tv. Its just youtube they can see it on. There are many different ways to hear music and find new stuff to listen to.

Because the 80s was when the first music videos were made. Nowadays, this generation are a bunch of uncultured, spoiled, disrespectful, and narrow minded little brats and I can say that because I am in this generation.
