Is light the same every where?

Whether light comes from the sun and stars, light coming from light bulbs, even light from fireflys and animals, is light the same no matter where it comes from?

Photons are fungible. If I could show you an individual photon for you to study, you couldn't tell if it was just emitted from your lightbulb, a lightning bolt, the Sun, or a distant galaxy.

Light is the same no matter what the source. The difference is only in the wavelength.

Different wavelengths is all that separates the different kinds of light- the perception of it anyways.
