Are slime tubes really worth it?

I'm looking for a way to prevent flats. Do slime tubes really help? Or should I try the kevlar tires and tire liner trick?

Not sure what you mean by slime tubes. But if you mean stuff like fix-a-flat, then yes. That kind of stuff is really good. It sets up on the inside of the tire like a rubbery compound, so that when you get a nail or hole in the tire, as long as it's not too large a hole, the rubbery fix-a-flat then helps to plug up the hole.

A great invention. When you change out tires, or have a mechanic work on a tire with fixaflat in it, you want to let them know, they have to be careful dealing with tires that have it.

Or to have double protection. Do put a inner tube inside the tire, and then add the fix a flat to the inner tube.
